Ok so first of all I just want to have a moment of silence for the marriage of Kenny and Renee Zellweger....I CAN NOT believe that this is true. I was driving home last night and I heard the news of their marriage on Monday night in the Carribean on St. John. I completely freaked out!!!
This is absolutely ridiculous. I had no idea that they were even dating let alone thinking about marriage. I can not believe Kenny would jump into this and not think through this decision.
I have been mourning all day and hopefully he will come to his senses and realize that his true love is here in Delaware....i'll just keep wishing that!!!
So all of you hopeful Kenny fans....I give it a month!

Ok, so the school year is ending and a lot of us are seniors and graduating so I found a little quote by Kenny that I enjoyed and that hit home.
"Regrets are the one thing I believe most people live with in one way or another. Everybody lives with it, because we all have times in our life when we didn't take the extra step, didn't go out on that limb -- whether it was asking that one girl out or standing up for something we believed in. Kenny on Tower Records

Ok so I took Sam's idea and I went to Tower Records website and found one of Kenny's albums. It's his "When the Sun Goes Down" album. So I got the link so that all you people that are unfamiliar with his wonderful voice can try it out. http://www.towerrecords.com/product.aspx?pfid=2926581 My favorite song from this album is "The Woman with You." So if you are interested in purchasing this cd it seems like a pretty good deal!

Kenny has been really busy lately. He will be in the May 5th Country Weekly issue. He is giving all his readers a behind the scenes look at what it takes to have such a successful tour. So keep your eyes open for the issue. Also, he will be appearing on The Today Show at the end of this month. So on April 28th make sure you are looking out for him and his number one song "Anything But Mine!" And most importantly, he will be appearing and performing on the CMT's Music Awards. He is up for Video of the Year and Hottest Male, Event, and Director. Good Luck Kenny and I can't wait to see ya soon!!!

Kenny's On Tour!!

Kenny is officially on his Somewhere in the Sun tour! Today was his first appearance and he will be getting his groove on in Champaign, Illinois. He then will be on the move going from East to West searching for his number one fans!! It's a shame that he will not be close until May 28th. Cruzan Rum is sponsoring this tour and they will be featuring Gretchen Wilson and Uncle Kracker also. He will be playing some of his new songs from his new album Be As You Are, but mainly he will be playing songs from his album Somewhere in the Sun. I hope I get a chance to see him this summer!!!

Kenny Plays Houston Rodeo On A Stool!!!!

Due to a recent ankle injury suffered by Kenny Chesney, Chesney’s concerts scheduled for March 10 & 11 at the Resch Center have been rescheduled for March 23 & 24. I have a feeling he may have got hurt from a few too many margarita's on the beach, but that is just my opinion. Kenny is currently residing in the Virgin Islands. How nice would that be right now!!!

However, Kenny was still able to play at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo for the fifth consecutive year. Though he needed to sing most of the evening's songs perched on a stool, he was determined to rock the crowd of approximately 70,000 who showed up on a Wednesday night

I wasn't lieing about how awesome Kenny's new cd is. In one of the articles I was reading, I found this quote, "at this point, a mere three weeks after dropping "Be As You Are: Songs From An Old Blue Chair," Kenny Chesney has surpassed the sales mark for gold with 508,855 copies already in the hands of his fans -- and netting out as the year's third-best-selling release of 2005 behind The Game's "Documentary" and Green Day's "American Idiot."" So thats just another thing to keep in mind about how successful Kenny is becoming. My next posting will have some background about this great songwriter!!

I decided to do this blog about Kenny Chesney because he is one of my favorite country artists. Also, there are a good portion of people that don't like country music. So maybe if people new about some of the artists' backgrounds, they would give country a chance.

Kenny just came out with a new cd this past month which is worth noting. It's called "Be As You Are" and it has a nice island tone to it. Some of the song titles include, "Guitars and Tiki Bars," "Island Boy," and "Somewhere in the Sun." It is something different then his normal country music and it may be a nice change for people. If anyone gets a chance, check it out!! Thats all for now!!!
